Larger Than Life

En 1985, Michael Masucci présente à EZTV le film Larger Than Life, un court métrage d’animation réalisé par Dave Curlender étudiant en ingénierie à UCLA, et David S. Goodsell étudiant du département de biochimie, intégrant l’utilisation des premières techniques de motion-pictures et d’animation assistées par ordinateur. Si il ne s’agit pas d’une production EZTV, le film est symptomatique de la place que la structure va prendre dans les années qui suivent au sein des scènes du computer art et des pratiques artistiques du numérique.

In 1985, Michael Masucci presented at EZTV the film Larger Than Life, an animated short directed by UCLA engineering student Dave Curlender and biochemistry student David S. Goodsell, incorporating the use of early motion-picture and computer-assisted animation techniques. Although not an EZTV production, the film is symptomatic of the place the structure would take in the computer art scene and digital art practices in the years that followed.
